The game Last Battle was released for the Genesis in 1989. Players control the martial artist Aarzak who uses punches and kicks to battle his way through various enemies in a post-apocalyptic world. Aarzak’s power-up meter is filled when he defeats enemy and allows him to transform in to a super-powered state with rapid attacks. Gameplay involves moving through linear levels facing enemies and navigating through dungeons.

It is divided into four main chapters each with several stages. Certain level is easy in which Aarzak fights through enemies in a side-scrolling manner while others are maze-like dungeons that challenge players to find the right path and avoid traps. Along the way Players also meet allies providing temporary boosts to Aarzak’s health or strength and the game includes challenging boss battles that require good timing and strategy to defeat.

While Last Battle got mixed review due to its difficulty and rigid controls it remains a memorable experience for fans of classic beat-em-up games. The game was initially based on popular anime and manga series.The North Star has a Fist of the North Star.however characters and names have been changed for the international release. Its gritty graphics and challenging combat offer a retro gaming experience with a unique storyline and atmosphere.
